We have had an association with Chris Monckton since 2004 when he started maintaining our Windows Network and providing technical support to our staff whilst he was working for a Systems Integrator. During that period he assisted us in upgrading our basic IT system to a client server network, giving us a more stable, secure and streamlined platform from which to manage our IT requirements and communication with our overseas parent.

Chris eventually moved on to greener pastures and it took us a year to track him down as we had grown to rely on his technical ability and sound advice. Chris now has his own IT support company, NetSolutions which looks after all our technical needs. Our first point of contact at his company is with one of his consultants Daniel Franks who does a fantastic job in assisting our staff when they have problems. Nothing is too much problem for Daniel and he and Chris continue to advise us and manage the health of our network.

We look forward to continuing this relationship with SecureIT over the years to come

Mondottica Australia

Mondottica Australia Pty Ltd is one of the leading distributors of fashion optical frames and sunglasses. Established in January 1999 from an existing wholesale company Mondottica Australia distributes the following brands: DAVID LAWRENCE, HACKETT, JAG, LULU, GUINNESS PEPE JEANS SHANGHAI TANG TED BAKER TED BAKER GLOBAL

Mondottica’s IT environment has been supported for the past 5 years by Chris Monckton and more recently through his company NetSolutions. Back then Chris was an employee for a systems integrator and we were so impressed with how easy he was to do business with and his technical ability, that we followed Chris as he moved companies to grow his own career in IT.

In 2004 we were running a small Peer to Peer Network and Chris moved us to a server based network with the important benefits of data security, centralized email and fast streamlined computing for our users. When Chris moved to establish his own IT Services business we moved under the support umbrella that his company provided.

Over this last 5 years we have tripled in size and NetSolutions have ensured that we have a solid and secure IT platform to drive our business from and support our growing user base.

When we pose problems to Chris he invariably comes up with a solution. We had been having  problems trying to connect in by phone from different countries to our CBA software, ‘Quick Line’ via dial up which CBA technical support were unable to find a solution to. Chris put a modem on the server and now we simply dial the modem from overseas and the server then dials the CBA. A simple solution to what was a frustrating and expensive exercise in call costs.

Recently NetSolutions advised us to upgrade to a more powerful server and with the very keen prices offered by them on Ex-Lease hardware we bought two servers from them with one acting as a ‘redundant’ server.

We are pleased to write this reference for NetSolutions as they have provided us with trouble free computing over the years and they are always there if we need help.

Chemgold

Chemgold is an Australian owned company and a recognised leader in the precious metal services industry.  From CAD.CAM to CAST Chemgold provides a complete one stop shop solution for all precious metal products and services using leading-edge technology.

With our head office opening in the city and production refinery at Chippendale, Chemgold operate a sophisticated computer network that includes linking into our Wax printers to produce the moulds for jewellery production.

In 2003 Chris from NetSolutions encouraged us to update our peer to peer network. He designed and implemented a Microsoft based client server network which secured and protected our critical data whilst allowing centralised storage and sharing of data amongst users. The system also gave us enhanced communications, centrally managed and secure internet for each desktop and a host of other benefits, which NetSolutions continued to support on a day to day basis.

Following an office fire in 2006 which severely damaged our computer network Chris had us up and running in a temporary office in two days, organising cabling and loaned networked computers for 10 of our 15 staff with minimum disruption to the business. When we moved back to our original offices Chris re cabled and established a completely new computer system fit out. It proved that in an emergency situation Chris could be relied upon to drop everything to support his customer.

In 2007 Chris devised a solution to enable us to respond to potential problems with our wax printers that produce jewellery moulds. As it can take 24 hours to produce a mould from the CAD drawings we needed an alert mechanism. Chris put the sophisticated printers on to the network and set up remote access to the Wax printers which allow us to monitor them from user’s homes.

As our business continues to expand NetSolutions proposed a larger computer network system which they are now implementing at the Refinery together with computer fit out at our new city offices. Over these past six years we have come to trust Chris’ expertise and ability to respond to our needs and highly recommend NetSolutions for any business seeking to have a computer network implemented and supported.
